Our Programs

In  Haiti,  school  is  not  free  like  it  is  for  us  in  the  United  States.    Coming  up  with enough  money  to  pay  tuition  can  be  almost  impossible  for  parents.    We  believe  that  education  is  necessary.  So,  we provide funds to enroll children in local schools, buy school uniforms, books, school supplies, laptops, and tutors.   We  also  support  Haitian  schools  with  educational  supplies.  We  are  currently  supporting  Institution  Mixte  Academie  Du  Savior,  a  small  elementary  school  in  Jeremie.  

Application  for  scholarships  for  the  2024-2025  school  year  will  be  announced  in July  2024.  A  call  for  applications  will  be  made  on  the  website.  The  number  of  scholarships  will  depend  on  available  funding.    Priority  will  be  given  to  returning  students  who  successfully  completed  the  prior  school  year.   Evaluation  criteria  include  prior  year’s  grades  and  a  statement  (or  drawing) of  what  they  will  accomplish with  their  education.
